Executive Assistant to CEO
About the Role
WineWorks seeks an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant to provide proactive, highlevel support to the CEO in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a permanent position, 30–40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based in Marlborough. We are open to discussing flexibility around days and hours to suit the right candidate. This role demands professionalism, sound judgement, and the ability to anticipate needs, making meaningful impact across the organisation. Responsibilities include:
- Executive Support: Manage complex calendars/inbox, act as gatekeeper, prepare briefings/reports, support decision-making, and track actions for CEO, Board & SLT.
- Governance & Reporting: Coordinate Board/SLT meetings, manage agendas/papers/minutes, and prepare KPIs and executive reporting.
- Communication & Relationships: Liaise with stakeholders, ensure smooth information flow, and coordinate events/visits.
- General Support: Authorise invoices, support CEO-led projects, and maintain confidentiality and sound judgement.

Skills and experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in a senior Executive Assistant role (CEO/GM/Board preferred)
- Strong organisational, prioritisation, and multitasking ability
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High emotional intelligence and absolute discretion
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset — you think ahead and make things happen
