General Store Person - Fixed Term

Join our Warehouse & Distribution department in this hands-on, forklift-focused role that helps keep New Zealand's wine industry moving. You'll spend your shift using material handling equipment (MHE) to support our bottling operations, receiving dry goods, supplying production lines with essential materials, and moving finished products throughout the site. You'll be part of a hardworking team that takes pride in working together and getting the job done right.

About the role

• Full-time, Fixed-Term, Day Shift role, from August to April (approximately 7 months)
• 7:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday
• 9.5-hour shifts (with flexibility required during peak periods)
• As part of our Production Services Team, you'll operate a range of MHE to support the movement of materials and finished goods around site and play a key role in ensuring our bottling lines remain supplied and productive.
• This is a crucial position that requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to health and safety, and most importantly, the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Experience Required:

• Experienced forklift operator, with a current forklift licence (OSH + F)
• A good understanding of workplace health and safety
• Pride in getting it “right first time”
• Clear and positive communication
• Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving warehouse environment
