General Store Person - Night Shift
Join our Warehouse & Distribution department in this hands-on, forklift-focused role that helps keep New Zealand's wine industry moving. You'll spend your shift using material handling equipment (MHE) to support our bottling operations, receiving dry goods, supplying production lines with essential materials, and moving finished products throughout the site. You'll be part of a hardworking team that takes pride in working together and getting the job done right.
About the role
- Full-time, permanent night shift role working 5.00pm to 5.00am Monday to Thursday, with a shorter shift on Fridays.
- Monday to Friday roster, giving you your weekends free.
- As part of our Production Services Team, you'll operate a range of MHE to support the movement of materials and finished goods around site, and play a key role in ensuring our bottling lines remain supplied and productive.
- This is a crucial position that requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to health and safety, and most importantly, the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Wage rate starting between $28.00 - $29.50 per hour (negotiable depending on experience). You will also receive an additional $4.00 per hour night shift allowance on top of your base hourly rate

Experience Required:
- Experienced forklift operator, current forklift licence would be an advantage (OSH + F)
- A good understanding of workplace health and safety
- Pride in getting it “right first time”
- Clear and positive communication
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
